| Nalco Chemical Company – Garyville Manufacturing Facility – Laboratory HVAC Upgrade |
| The manufacturing facility’s main laboratory heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system required replacement and upgrade to current regulatory code as well as increased capacity to accommodate recent expansion. M S Benbow and Associates was contracted to provide detailed engineering design and specification for the replacement system. The scope included assessment of the existing facility’s internal usage and condition of the existing HVAC equipment. This data was compared to current codes and recommended practices to identify alternatives for a solution to the situation. |

| Global Marine Drilling Company – Arctic 1 Semi-Submersible Drilling Vessel – HVAC Retrofit |
| The Heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems of the Arctic 1, originally designed for service in the North Sea, exhibited extremely poor performance when operating in the Gulf of Mexico. The Scope of Work for M S Benbow & Associates was to alleviate uncomfortable conditions within the living quarters, galley, mess and working offices of the vessel while minimizing upset to the on-going drilling operations. The project start date was 7/98 and the projected completion date is 9/99. |
