Areas of Expertise

  • Trunked Radio Systems
Engineering of large (parish/county-wide) and small (industrial) scale trunking radio systems including feasibility studies; project development; system design; regulatory compliance; civil/structural design and build-out of communications shelters and towers; start-up assistance and performance evaluation. Complete project management from conception to commissioning.
  • RF Signal Enhancement
Design and implementation of RF signal enhancement techniques for buildings, ships, arenas and other structures. Poor radio reception within structures is improved through the use of proper signal amplification techniques that provide adequate reception at minimal cost.
  • Microwave Links
Design of microwave links for voice and data applications including SCADA system point-to-multi-point links, two-way radio audio and data paths, campus and wide area networking links.
  • Antenna Site Verification
Consultation to parish and county governments and municipalities to verify antenna site selections by communications companies that are constructing cellular and PCS infrastructures. Cooperation with vendor's engineers to locate alternate sites while maintaining quality of service.
