Industrial Safety Training Council Recognizes M S Benbow Safety Achievements
MSB Earns Two Awards for Consecutive No Lost Work Days, Zero Incidents
METAIRIE, La.−(May 23, 2017)−M S Benbow & Associates’ (MSB) safety record was recently recognized with two International Safety Training Council (ISTC) Safety Achievement Awards. The engineering firm was recognized for having worked eight years without an OSHA lost workday case and for sustaining a “zero” incidence rate for the third consecutive year.
The ISTC delivers safety training and site-specific job safety orientations to contractors and employees of refining and chemical plants in the Southeast Texas areas.
The presentation of the ISTC safety awards is part of a comprehensive safety awards program developed to promote safety through training in the contractor industry and to publicly recognize the excellent record of safety these contractors have achieved. The ISTC 21st Annual Safety Awards Banquet presented a total of 221 safety awards to 101 contract companies for years worked, hours worked, incidence rate reduction and sustained performance of “zero” incidence rate. The professional engineering consultancy also received two ISTC safety awards in 2014 and 2015.
