M S Benbow & Associates announces promotions
Dean Ruiz Named Director of Engineering, Paul St. Pierre Named Electrical Engineering Department Manager
Metairie, LA—May 12, 2016—One of the Gulf South’s most respected and versatile multi-discipline engineering corporations, M S Benbow & Associates (MSB) announces two promotions as well as an organizational change to support the 37-year-old professional engineering corporation’s continued growth.
Dean C. Ruiz, PE, is being promoted to the position of MSB Director of Engineering. Ruiz will report directly to MSB President Leo Holzenthal, Jr., PE, who previously led the company’s engineering departments as Engineering Manager as well as serving as company President. Paul St. Pierre will assume Ruiz’s former position as Electrical Engineering Department Manager.
Ruiz has more than 20 years of professional engineering experience with MSB designing and managing successful large-scale projects for clients, primarily in the industrial and oil & gas markets. In this new position, Ruiz will be responsible for supervising and directing the department managers in electrical power systems, instrumentation, control systems, telecommunications engineering, design and drafting across all MSB industry sectors.
As the new manager of MSB’s Electrical Engineering department, St. Pierre will lead a division of MSB that serves a broad range of electrical system needs for industrial, commercial and utility customers providing expertise in design, analysis, retrofits and maintenance of electrical systems, including substations, cable systems and power monitoring systems.
