MSB Holiday Initiatives, United Way Partnership Support Local Communities

Engineering consultancy contributes nearly $20,000 to United Way giving campaign

METAIRIE, La.—Dec. 18, 2018 —Engineering consultancy M S Benbow & Associates (MSB) participated in several holiday giving efforts benefiting needy families and announced the end of a successful United Way giving campaign supporting the Greater New Orleans, Houston and Dallas communities.

Over the holidays, MSB employees adopted three families at Thanksgiving in an effort organized by Jesuit High School in New Orleans, providing gift cards and food items to help local families in need celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. The New Orleans-based engineering consultancy also joined in to donate approximately 40 items to the Children’s Hospital of New Orleans’ Toy Drive, which helps children adjust to their time in the hospital.

MSB employees in the engineering firm’s offices in Metairie and Mandeville, La., and Houston and Dallas, Texas, also took part in the United Way’s annual workplace giving campaign. Team members contributed a combined $19,000 to support United Way programs serving the communities where MSB employees work and live.

“Whether donating money, giving their time as volunteers or contributing to local non-profit organizations, MSB team members are committed to positively influencing and assisting the community through our company and personal activities,” said MSB CEO and Founding Partner Michael Benbow. “Our employees are making a real difference by partnering with nonprofits and working with the United Way to help change and improve lives.”
