METAIRIE, LA. — (October 7, 2022)— M S Benbow & Associates (MSB) returned for the fifth year to compete in the 2022 Battle for the Paddle Jambalaya and Gumbo Cook-Off benefiting the United Way of St. Charles Parish. The Battle for the Paddle returned this fall after a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic. The event kicks off the annual fundraising campaign for the United Way of St. Charles and raises awareness for the organization’s service to this community.

MSB faced off against approximately 25 other family and industry teams competing for the titles of “Best Jambalaya” and “Best Gumbo” during the 19th-annual charity cook-off. The Battle for the Paddle is held each fall to kick off the annual fundraising campaign for the United Way of St. Charles and to raise awareness for the organization’s service to this community.
