Gulf South firm celebrates 40th anniversary, continued growth in multi-discipline engineering consulting

NEW ORLEANS—(March 1, 2018)—M S Benbow & Associates (MSB), a leading design and engineering firm serving the industrial, government, institutional and energy sectors, is celebrating 40 years of continued growth as a privately owned professional engineering corporation in 2018.

MSB was founded in 1978 by Michael S. Benbow, P.E., with the mission to provide engineering, technical and project support services for the Gulf South’s growing oil and gas industry. Since that time the company has continued to broaden its capabilities and extend its reach to a wide array of industries. MSB expanded into a larger consulting firm in the ’90s, growing their electrical and instrumentation divisions, and in the early 2000’s entering the telecommunications and technology field focused on fiber optic, cellular, wireless and wireline-network technologies.
